This afternoon, our company held a fun Dragon Boat Festival activity. We learned to make flower bouquets, ate zongzi, and played games together. It was a perfect way to celebrate the festival!
At the very beginning, we had a flower-arranging class. The teacher brought many flowers like Ai Ye, Pomegranate flower, Acorus calamus,roses and lilies, etc. Everyone sat around the table, cutting and putting flowers into vases. Some of us were good at it, and some made funny-looking bouquets, but we all laughed a lot. My friend Xiaomei put too many leaves in her vase, and it looked like a small forest!
After that, our company distributed hundreds of Zongzi, including meat, bean, sweet and salty. While sharing the delicious Zongzi, we talked and laughed with colleagues, and the whole company was full of happiness. After that, we played a "Zongzi Relay" game. Teams had to wrap zongzi as fast as possible. My team didn’t win, but we had so much fun trying.
Before the day ended, our company gave each of us a bouquet and a card that said, "Happy Dragon Boat Festival! Stay safe and well." Holding the flowers, I thought: It’s not just about the activities, but about being together. I hope everyone has a happy festival, just like this wonderful afternoon. It was a warm afternoon, and we are glad that we spent the time together.
